Bob Myles is the Chief Operating Officer of Stuart Olson Industrial Group. For more than 25 years his career has focused on the Canadian industrial sector in oil and gas, power, and midstream markets.
Bob commenced his career at Petro-Canada as a Project Engineer working in refining operations before moving to the ATCO Group of Companies in 1991. He held progressively more senior roles within ATCO including roles within the distribution, midstream, and transmission companies. Bob was President of ATCO Pipelines, ATCO Energy Solutions, ATCO Water and ATCO Midstream at various times throughout his career with ATCO Ltd. His final role within ATCO was as the Managing Director of the Energy Group which included the pipelines, midstream, energy services and information technology divisions while also being responsible for ATCO’s corporate development initiatives in Northern Canada, South America and Australia.
Prior to joining Stuart Olson, Bob was the President and CEO of Tartan Canada Corporation. Bob has also served as a Director and Chair of the Canadian Energy Pipelines Association, and a Director of both the Petroleum Join Venture Association and the Canadian Gas Processors Association.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bob has also completed Management and Strategic Planning executive courses from the Richard Ivey School of Business and Finance executive courses from the University of Queen’s School of Business.
